Set 1 - Create Your Vercel Account

This assignment is for students who could not finish creating their Vercel account in class because they did not have their phone with them.

Vercel needs a phone number to verify your account. You will need your phone ready to receive a code (OTP) by text message.

Step 1: Go to vercel.com and click Sign Up.

Step 2: Use the class email we gave you. It looks like this: [yourname]@sevenkidscodefoundation.org. Replace [yourname] with your actual name. For example: james@sevenkidscodefoundation.org.

Step 3: Create a strong password and finish signing up.

Step 4: When Vercel asks for your phone number, enter your real number and click to send the verification code.

Step 5: Check your phone for the OTP code (a short number sent by text). Type it into Vercel to verify.

Step 6: Once your account is verified, take a screenshot showing you are logged in and send it in the class WhatsApp group.

If you have any problems, ask in the WhatsApp group or wait until the next class. Do not leave this until the last day.
